FA cup
Wasn't that a brilliant cup final yesterday? A scenario that came straight from the Roy of the Rovers stories. I don't remember Rovers ever winning on penalties though, or did they?

Re: FA cup
I can't remember Rovers winning on penalties in the FA Cup, mind you there were replays until a couple of years ago, but I do remember Rovers winning the European Cup Winners Cup v Real Santana (Spain) by penalties. It was some sort of ugly grudge match and Blackie Gray scored the winning penalty.
I think Steven Gerrard's 2nd goal was real Roy of the Rovers stuff. Struggling with cramp, the stalwart captain dug out a superb drive and kept Liverpool in the game - Roy couldn't have done better!

Re: FA cup
As a life-long Gunner I am hoping for a real "Roy of the Rovers" stuff tomorrow night at Stade de France, especially from Thierry H.

Re: FA cup
Rovers could really do with an EtoO now couldn't they. Hopefully Rovers will be back in the Champions League next season via the new storylines.
