They look like having no care about fans, only customers...

Re: What happened to ROTR old website??
Nikos64, totally agree with you. It looks like their plan was to go for the nostalgia route and appeal to readers from the 70's the comics most popular period.... however the merchandise so far is shocking.
If I had the rights to RotR the 1st thing I would be doing is making the back issues available. That is what made RotR's what it is today and would hopefully appeal to a new generation.
Then I would bring out new material.... either modern stories based in todays world or if they want to focus on the 70's story how about a retro reboot based in that decade.
I cant help thinking Egmont do not know what they have in their hands.

Re: What happened to ROTR old website??
I do agree with you both, my friends. You know, years ago, Strkav, another guy (can't remember his name) and me were planning to bring Roy back, putting new stories (from the point when the strip had stopped in MotD magazine), overloading them in the web, under a new site. I had prepared (sketched) 3 or 4 episodes, we lunched them but unfortunately the all project was obliged to disappeare! Mark Towers (the owner of the only oficiall RotR website) had threatened us with legal concequences and this was all...

Re: What happened to ROTR old website??
I heard about a fan comic that was online but taken down by the owners. Is Mark Towers still involved in RotR's??
Would like to see your work Nikos64... as a child I always planned on writing either RotR or being the artist before moving to America and working on spiderman but alas it never happened.
Did mail Egmont if they needed a writer for a relaunch but they never responded.

Re: What happened to ROTR old website??
Nice work Nikos... leaves me wanting more. Really cant see what the problem was unless at the time there were plans to continue the story?
