Australia!
Any comments Grandad on Australia's win? Why was Cahill a substitute? Hiddink's substitutions seemed to work anyway!

Re: Australia!
The Man is a maestro! Hiddink gets it right every time. Cahill and Aloisi were returning from injury and not 90 minute fit. The team that started were all workers with a few stars - Viduka and a half fit Kewell. They stiffled Japan and in the intense heat the superfit Aussies wore japan down at the end. Cahill and Aloisi are both explosive players that were able to breeze past tired japanese defenders at the end. Great result for us. Bring on the Brazilians!

Re: Australia!
If Brazil's game from yesterday shows what they're capable of, you don't have to worry

Re: Australia!
Croatia couldn't stop us! What next for Guus Hiddink. Can he get another nation to the semi finals! Come on you Aussies! Ozzie, ozzie, Ozzie.

Re: Australia!
What a let down Graham Poll was. Let's hope the England team can represent their country better later on today!

Re: Australia!
Oh well. Australia did us proud but couldn't quite do it. I thought when Italy had a player red carded Australia may push on a bit but it looked like they were playing for extra-time and hoping the Italians would run out of steam. Unfortunately it wasn't to be. Shame that our best player of the tournement, Lucas Neill should be the one to give away the penalty. Now I've only got England to support.
